Career Passions in IT

There are many career opportunities within IT and many industries in which to work.  But I and many other IT professionals have learned that finding where you can pursue your passions will help you achieve happiness with your career.  Every person will have their preferences - some like working with other people and fall into roles in project management, systems analysis, IT recruiting, and even technical support.  Others prefer to work quietly building solutions to database problems, networking issues, security concerns, or even building software applications.  Others find that the type of work is less important than with whom specifically they work - family, good friends, or an inspiring leader.  And others find that the industry is the most important aspect of their work - they love motorcycles so they work for Harley managing their network, or they love scrap-booking so they build and maintain a scrap-booking web site.

Whatever the case may be, discover your passions and pursue them with all your energies.
